Description: Victorian Gentleman's highly impressive 12ct rich rose rolled gold (professionally tested and is known in the U.S.A as gold filled) fancy 'trombone' link Antique pocket watch chain / double Albert with original T bar and original matching swivel dog clips. C~1890's. Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to 'Peaky Blinders'. Measures; 42cm / 16 1/2" total length and weighs a highly respectable 27.4 grams. Bright crisp fancy rose gold filled 'trombone' links (measures 2.3cm length x 5mm width) which are each interspersed by three oval links - all have a lovely rich rose pink hue and reflect the light beautifully. Robust and well made original matching secure swivel dog clip to each end (both operate correctly) and original T bar to centre which measures 3.8cm length. Also has a short length of 'trombone' and oval link chain just below the T bar with original round link to end - so allowing the wearer to display a fob if desired. Excellent bright clean condition with absolutely no damage, wear or patina (looks to have had very little use - perhaps only high days and holidays) and just a few very fine little overall surface scratches (showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
