Description: 3-piece metal set: WWII German Luftwaffe/aviation A round airport tag, a square Junkers tag, and a rectangular airplane cabin tag. The World War II German Luftwaffe Lübeck-Blankensee round airport tag is approximately 1 1/8" across. It shows darkening, wear, and oxidation. This large Luftwaffe airport became operational in 1939 and remained under Luftwaffe control until 1945. Rectangular original WWII German Luftwaffe Master Compass part number FL 23332-2 nameplate. It roughly translates to: "Danger. Only use plugs with iron-free contact plates Fl 23332-2." These would have been attached to master compasses on WWII Luftwaffe planes. Square German WWII Junkers factory tag stamped with the number 500 on the back. It is in good condition, showing wear and oxidation, with some loss of detail. It is approximately 1 3/8" across at the longest point. The Pommersche Motorenwerke GmbH was founded in 1935 in Stettin. A facility was built at Arnimswalde near Stettin.
