Description: This is a fantastic, very large recruitment poster for the Navy dated December 27, 1941 -- only 20 days after Pearl Harbor. It shows a sailor carrying a duffel bag on his shoulder, shipping off to fight the enemy and beckoning us to join him. It is 43x28. NOT a reproduction! This is from my mother's personal collection of vintage posters. She was an antiques and collectibles dealer in New England for many years and acquired this and dozens of other vintage posters (WW1, WW2, political, advertising and others) over 40 years ago.
