Description: Nice 27" strand of old drilled Shell Beads found at the Clarke Farm Site in Clermont Co Ohio along Big Indian Creek. From the well-known collection of Dr Jim Mills. Found by George Heckman. These were found loose and strung on a string. One bead has some decoration on it. The Clarke Farm Site is a premier archaeological site consisting of approx 20 acres with occupation of 8000 years.You may notice a penny inserted into some of the pics.
