Description: Nice Group 3 Sailors New Year Antique Postcards, EMB, Gold & Silver Trim This is a nice and beautiful group of NEW YEAR postcards that are ANTIQUE from the early 1900s. This set has the classic New Year SAILOR and NAUTICAL motifs such as: FLOWERS, WATER, MASTS, ANCHOR, FRIENDSHIP MESSAGES, etc. The postcards are nicely drawn, and they have good detail that makes them pleasing to look at. These are EMBOSSED. One has a GOLD background, and the other two have a SILVER background. These postcards would have been "Printed in Germany" during the "Golden Age of Postcards" (1908-1915 era). They were made by the same publisher. These are very good postcards to add to a collection. They would appeal to collectors because of their age, their colorful and attractive nature, and the way they capture life back in the early 1900s. Overall, a nice selection of antique New Year postcards at a reasonable price. The postcards are UNPOSTED (1) and POSTED (2) with cancel dates of 1908 and 1910. They have DIVIDED backs. These are BETTER POSTCARDS and good for a collector. The postcards will keep their value! They are sleeved and in good condition. However, please expect some creases, stains and edge wear due to their age. The photos show the postcards and the backs. The postcards are shipped in a sturdy envelope.
