Description: Up for auction is a professionally polished and electrified authentic Navy Standard type LIFEBOAT BINNACLE & COMPASS. Instrument is in good shape with its original compass stationed within copper binnacle, probably a WW2 era Lionel. Binnacle condition almost new, but old stock Navy surplus. Binnacle glass good, copper with just a few expected minor scuffs and small dents as pictured.. Old brass binnacle compass good with only small typical air bubble and card wave which doesn't appear to effect performance; also as pictured. Compass marked: DIRIGO - Trademark Eugene M. Sherman Seattle, WA Please note: Binnacle lamp has been electrified so internal kerosene sidelight burner has been replaced with standard a/c light fixture as found and pictured.
