Description: Mopar Bushing Remove-Install Tool C-3710A, A-Body Upper Control Arm To remove bushings or bushings with sleeves: Assemble tool as shown on outside of control arm. The inner nut will pass through the control arm or sleeve and arm. Hold outer nut with wrench, or place outer nut in shop vise, tightening vise only enough to hold assembly upright. Tighten inner nut with wrench or socket wrench. Do not use an impact wrench. When the bushing is pressed into the tube, the bushing and sleeve will fall free. Hold control arm from falling. Since the bushing has an interference fit with the control arm and the sleeve has an interference fit to the bushing, a breaker bar and deep socket may be needed to tighten inner nut. To install the 4 bushings: Place tool on inside of control arm and press each bushing in by holding outer nut with wrench or vise and tightening inner nut. Do not use an impact wrench. Press bushing inward until flanged end seats on control arm. Do not oil or grease bushings, but oil or grease on threads of the turning inner nut may be applied. To re-install the 2 sleeves: This tool will partially but not fully re-install the sleeves. A unique bore is required to press the sleeves over the bushing until seated on the control arm.
