On the back cover is a color photo of the bell tower of the Carmel Mission. There are California poppy accents on borders and title, very good condition (small tear at bottom margin of page 19, unobtrusive rubber stamp of "Mr. Foster's Information Office" on title page). A colorful promotion of Sunset Magazine and the Southern Pacific Railroad.
