Description: Mixture 5 Drawn Ladies Greetings Antique Postcards, 1907-08 Era. 1 Collegiate This is a nice selection of 5 PRETTY LADIES GREETINGS postcards that show LADIES in different scenes. They are ANTIQUE postcards from the early 1900s, and they are drawn. One of them (the lady in the boat) is Artist Signed, and it shows a pretty lady in a boat in the water. The postcards are colorful and attractive with good detail. The one that says "Priscilla" is copyright 1902. There is one with a lady in a red dress with white birds, and this one says "Summer". There is also one with 4 ladies on a wheeled carriage that has a collegiate them with them waving a flag that says "P" on it. There is a postcard with a woman in the field, and the caption says, "The Shepherd's Star". The postcards give you a feel for life and fashion during the early 1900s. These would have been sent as GREETINGS postcards to a special person they cared for, and for FRIENDSHIP. These are collector items because of their nice appearance, their age, and their appeal to PRETTY LADIES collectors. Please note that one has its stamp removed. The postcards were published during the "Golden Age of Postcards" (1908-1915). The postcards are both UNPOSTED (2) and POSTED (3) with cancel dates of 1907 - 1908. They have DIVIDED backs. These were probably "Printed In USA". These are BETTER POSTCARDS and are good for a collector or dealer. They will keep their value. Often these postcards are sold as individual items for many dollars each. They are sleeved and in good condition. However, please expect some creases, stains and edge wear due to their age.
