Mancala is played by two players, so it is great for couples but also families, including kids ages 5 and up. ***MATERIALS*** Our mancala boards are made using solid local oak, American Walnut and/or Mahogany. The pockets are extra-large and sloped on one side so the glass beads are easier to reach. Each mancala game comes with a set of glass beads in a bag. The beads are either transparent or coloured, if you prefer one of them before the other leave us a message. Wood is protected with high quality all-natural wood finishing oil. ***DIMENSIONS*** The board is approximately 45 cm (18 inch) long, 20 cm (8 inch) wide, 2 cm (3/4 inch) thick. The dimensions are bigger than usual mancala boards, so you have more comfort playing the game. The slightly bigger middle line prevents the glass beads from escaping to opponent. We made the first few mancala boards as presents for our friends, and they liked them a lot, so we decided to offer them to a wider audience.
