The Co-Hosts for the event were KIRK DOUGLAS, GREGORY PECK, JILL ST. JOHN and NATALIE WOOD with performances by TONY BENNETT, DIAHANN CARROLL, EYDIE GORME, ROBERT MERRILL, MITCH MILLER, ALLAN SHERMAN and LOUIS ARMSTRONG who performed the title song from the hit Broadway musical "HELLO, DOLLY!" with new lyrics ("HELLO, LYNDON!") by composer JERRY HERMAN. (The Original Broadway production starring CAROL CHANNING opened January 16th, 1964 at the St. James Theatre in New York City and ran for 2844 performances.) ..... DETAILS: The four page program measures 11" X 7" inches and includes a rendering of the president on the front cover, list of committee members and event participants on the inside pages and the new lyrics for "HELLO, LYNDON!" on the back cover ..... BONUS: Includes Louis Armstrong's 45 rpm recording of "HELLO, DOLLY!" on Kapp Records with "A Lot of Livin' To Do" from the LEE ADAMS and CHARLES STROUSE musical "BYE BYE BIRDIE" on the other side. Includes the original picture sleeve ..... CONDITION: The program has a vertical fold and shows light soiling. The record shows several surface marks, none that appear to be deep.
