Description: Ludwig classic maple 13x9 vintage black oyster finish in good used condition. This drum I believe is two to three years old. I would consider this drum in excellent condition but it has a small finish issue by one lug casing . It has a spot around the top half of one lug casing where the clear coat /film part of the wrap is a bit bubbled up, not the wrap itself. I read it’s what Ludwig calls “wrap tite” and it’s part of the modern wrap material they use for UV protection. It did have an atlas mount from the factory that I swapped out, maybe that had something to do with it, you can’t really see it unless it’s really close up and you need to feel for it (please see pics) I guess some people have been having some wrap finish issues with some of the New Ludwig drums from what I’ve read.
