Description: Ludwig Black Cortex 70's 7pc Double Bass Concert Tom Drum Kit Set 3 PLY RERINGS 3 PLY Shells WITH RERINGS!! The serial numbers are pointed badges in the 1,800,000 range. Thin style legs. Mufflers above the badges. These make me believe this kit was likely from 1976-1978 I would rate it as good - possibly very good for its age All the drums and even concert toms have rerings (never seen that before) which is interesting Sizes 13x9,14x10,15x12,16x14,18x16 two 22x14,22x14 bass drums (virgin) The two largest concert toms (16 + 15) there is a extra hole near their mounts (see last picture) . Possibly someone put on different mounts at one point on those. The drums all have expected normal wear such as scratches/ imperfections. The normal paint chipping on the black paint on the hoops. I restored some imperfections: glued some separating plies of wood, a couple wrap seams, sanded edges to smooth them out. Looks decent There are three clips stands (one not pictured) . Please note for the mounts ...The bottom of them are tama and one is difficult to adjust. May need a different base or to be upgraded down the road. One of the stands I did noticed the wing nut does get kinda close to touching the tom.... . that stand may have been for smaller concerts but works I added newer heads and front head (some new and used) with a slight white color variation on the front heads. Aquarian sent me a replacement white bass head when i brought that up to them. I can include that extra head with another ludwig sticker. See pictures for general condition. Still pretty cool as its a re ring concert tom kit. For shipping i would prefer not to stack. As that may risk damage with the exception I may be willing to put one tom in each bass drum box. Im guessing shipping for 7 boxes would be around $350-375 flat rate for this kit. Pickup would be ok (message me to add local pickup to the listing) Thank you!
