Detailed description of the people and places, with special narrative of the US Army military action in the Philippines at that time. Illustrated with black and white photographs, colortypes, and colored maps. Photographs detail landscape, military camps, people, clothing, customs, a wide tenge of topics. Marbled edges and end papers. Internally clean and unmarked. Light age tanning to pages, color plates bright and tissue guards in place. Tissue guards are more tanned from age than the pages and there are a few tears in them. Binding is good considering the age, loosening from the bound pages. The binding n dark green cloth with gilt title to front boards and spines, covers are generally good but show scuffing, light soiling and worn corners. Worn at the top of the binding, with a couple of deeper scuff marks on spine and back. Please see photos for idea of the general condition. Sold as is
