Description: [KRAMER] Focus 1000 Electric Guitar 1980's Made in Japan With Softcase Used Rare Description 1983-1985 KRAMER Focus 1000 A guitar brand beloved by Van Halen, the guitar player who led the revolution of the times. Currently, under the umbrella of Gibson, they produce many products that inherit the concept of that time. This model is the Focus 1000, a Japanese-made model that is also the Baretta, an original Kramer model that symbolizes rock guitars. It has one slant-mounted humbucker pickup, a Dinky-style body shape, and a distinctive banana head made of 1P maple without any joints. The Floyd Rose unit, which is also the face of the guitar, is an old model made in Germany. In addition, the back panel has three fastening screws, which confirms that it is an early specification. (In later years, it had four screws to correct interference with the panel on the spring cavity side.) The biggest feature of this model is its head logo. If you look closely, you can see that the basic spec "Focus 1000 by KRAMER" decal has been reapplied twice, and the "KRAMER" logo has been pasted on top of it, making this a very rare item, and judging from the finish, it is likely that this was done at the factory during production. The pickup is a Seymour Duncan DCJ Custom, and this is a rare one with a large logo. The pots are made by Bones, and both the knobs have been replaced, and the jack has been replaced with a Switchcraft product. The strap pin has been changed to a Schaller lock type. The back panel is missing. There are scratches, playing marks, and dents due to use, but it is in player's condition, adjusted for playing.
