Description: This album is still in its factory plastic protecting the cardboard cover. The cardboard cover looks almost new. There is very slight cardboard wear where the plastic was cut to remove the albums for playing. Album side 2 looks great. Album side 1 has a scuff mark (see last photo). The inside sleeve is wrinkled but could probably be flattened pretty easily. Thank you for visiting my store! About the Album Journey's tenth album, released in April 1986, and Journey's first album as a trio following the firing of drummer Steve Smith and bassist Ross Valory: session musicians played most of the rhythm parts on the album. The style of Raised On Radio is more accessible and akin to pop/rock, primarily as a result of Steve Perry taking more control of the band's sound as producer, after co-producing his debut album Street Talk. Raised On Radio was still extremely successful on release, reaching #4 on the Billboard charts, and spawning a Top 10 single (Be Good To Yourself) as well as three Top 20 singles (Suzanne, Girl Can't Help It, I'll Be Alright Without You). Why Can't This Night Go On Forever was released as a single as well, but missed the Top 40, charting at 60 on the Billboard charts, but reaching #24 on the Billboard AC charts: conversely, despite not being released as a single, the title track reached #27 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart. Music videos were created out of live footage for all singles except "Suzanne". Raised On Radio was re-released in 2006 with two bonus tracks: the live versions of ""Girl Can't Help It" and "I'll Be Alright Without You" recorded during the Raised On Radio tour and released as music videos. The band went into a hiatus following the Raised on Radio tour and did not release any new music until 1996's Trial By Fire.
