It measures 14” in height (with the stopper), 12” in height (without the stopper), a little over 6” wide and 3-1/4” in diameter at the base. It is a very heavy piece weighing over 18 lbs. It is in very good condition with no chips or scratches. JEAN CLAUDE NOVARO (1943-2014) was born in Antibes, between Cannes and Nice on the French Riviera, in France. Jean-Claude Novaro is today recognized as one of the greatest glass blowers of our time. His distinctive style was hailed by the art world, and his glass sculptures entered into the Guiness Book of World Records. He is considered as one of the greatest glass makers of the 20th century.In the 1990s, he invented a technique to make glass glow in the dark. Novaro’s work has been exhibited at the Corning Museum of Glass, New-York, Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris, Cathédrale de Rouen and many more. Novaro's unique and distinctive art-glass creations are highly prized and sought after by art connoisseurs worldwide.
