JEAN CLAUDE NOVARO French Art Glass Silver Overlay Morning Glory 9" Square Vase

Description: This listing is for a Vintage Jean Claude Novaro (1943-2014) French Studio Art Glass Square Shaped Bottle Form 9" Tall Vase. It is signed with inscribed "NOVARO" on bottom (photos 6 and 7). It features a wonderful silver overlay decoration of Morning Glory flowers and leaves on 2 sides. It is clear with amethyst / purple streaks running through 2 sides. Hand blown with rough pontil on bottom. Square shaped body, pinched bulb shaped neck, and flattened flared round top rim. I believe this to be a unique and early piece of his. It is in excellent condition overall with no chips, cracks, or repairs. All rims and edges are perfect. Silver looks perfect. Small bubbles in glass. Some minor scratches here and there. No other issues. Very clean. Please view photos carefully as they are my main description. *(White spots in pictures are glare / lighting from photos and not actually on the item). It is pretty big, heavy, and fragile weighing 2.75 lbs before packing and will be securely packaged and double boxed. It measures 9 1/16" tall, about 4" across widest part of flat sides of body, and 3 1/8" across top rim with a 15/16" diameter opening.
