Description: This is a Hubley cast iron boat tail 8 cylinder race car toy from the 1930's. The car body and driver are authentic Hubley cast pieces, stamped with the appropriate part numbers and having great original patina. The wheels and axles on this car have probably been replaced a long time ago - I believe the original car would have had wooden wheel hubs with white rubber tires. Nevertheless, this is a great vintage piece, and the wheels could easily be restored to a more authentic setup if desired.
