Description: Offered is an extremely rare, signed magazine photo from NY Giants star Henry Thompson. The black backing paper measures 7x4" and the magazine clipping is 2 x 3.25". Thompson normally signed "Hank" which makes this "Henry" example even more desirable. He started playing with the Kansas City Monarchs and was then picked by the NY Giants. He broke the color barrier in July of 1947 a few months after Jackie Robinson. Hank passed away in 1969 at the age of 43 from a seizure. LOOK AT MY OTHER AUCTIONS!!
