Description: Bottle Cap Tambourine. This is an actual, usable tambourine that was designed and made by me. The jingles ("zils") are made from flattened bottle caps. Unique design is played much like a standard tambourine: shaken, tapped or hit against the fingers or palm. Ergonomic hand grip for easy handling. This sounds very similar to a standard tambourine but with a tone that's a little less bright than factory-made jingles. Made of pine, stiff plastic coated wire and an assortment of 40 beer bottle caps. Finished with primer then sprayed with several heavy coats of glossy, oil based paint for a bold, vibrant appearance.
