Description: This one offers a Gilbert American Flyer HO gauge # 30515 'The Merchandiser' freight set in the original set box from 1959-60. Included in the set is a 31004 Pennsylvania 0-6-0 switcher that did not run. I would suggest servicing this engine if you are going to put it into operation as it has sat idle for a number of years. There is a 33522 B&M boxcar, a 33527 New Haven lumber car which is missing one step but has its load and an uninstalled brakewheel, and a 33506 Pennsylvania caboose All steps and couplers are present on all cars with the exception of the one missing step on the lumber car. There are 12 pieces of curved track, a re-railer straight track section along with 3 additional straight track sections. The flexible cardboard overlay inserts are present, a M-4982 warning sheet to only operate the train on DC power, the graphical pop-up display piece depicting the set and a 32663 AC/DC transformer. The transformer did not show power output readings on a multimeter. Finally, there is also an Atlas plate girder bridge with this set. I'm not sure if it is original to it, but was with it when I got the set in. The set box is strong and all corners are solid. Please note that I don't usually use eBay's shipping calculator as it can vary from reality wildly. This is a long shipping box (50" x 12" x 12") due to the length of the set box and I need to use their calculator on this one. If shipping comes in under what eBay calculates, I will refund the difference. If it comes in over what eBay calculates, I will cover the difference.
