Please have confidence in my 100% honest descriptions and please read the following carefully: This is an Original, American Flyer, "HO" Scale, No. 151, New York Central "Hudson" Locomotive, Produced by The Master Craftsmen of The A.C. Gilbert Company of New Haven, Connecticut, in this Variation, ONE YEAR ONLY in 1950!. This loco and tender are all heavy, diecast metal. This is the version with the smoke and "Choo-Choo" unit located in the boiler of the locomotive. The loco runs great and the smoke & choo-choo unit works. These locos were actually produced without a number on the side, underneath the cab window, but this loco appears to have had that area repainted, please see photos. There may be other areas that have been painted or touched up, I'm not really sure. In addition, someone scratched the number 788 into the bottom of the loco and tender, please see photos. Other than the paint issue, this is a beautiful loco, showing no signs of damage. Anyway, these old eyes don't see like they used to, so I ask that you take the time to "ZOOM IN" and look the photos over very closely, to determine for yourself just what we have here.
