Description: This is a German student half liter stein with a skull and crossbones lid and the inscription “Bier ist Gift!” (Beer is poison!). On the inside of the lid is the sign for “Pragraph 11” and it appears that it previously may have had “’s wird fortgesoffen” (Keep on drinking) inscribed. However, as evidenced by the faintness noted in the photo, it was removed and the student’s name was inserted. The stein stands 5 ½ inches tall and with one exception, it is in very good condition for its apparent age. The one exception is a slight rough spot on the bottom of the glass handle.
