To rehydrate add 1 part hot water to 1 part garlic. Allow the garlic to absorb the water for about 20 minutes or until fully rehydrated. You do not need to rehydrate the garlic if you are using it in a recipe as the garlic will rehydrate in whatever liquid is being used. We freeze dry and package all products in house. Each bag is packaged in a 7 mil mylar pint bag. Each package is heat sealed with an oxygen absorber inside. Stored this way, these freeze-dried products have a 25-year storage life.
