Description: Great big, reticulated, handled jug or ewer,marked Fischer, Budapest, dating to the early years of the 20th. century. Overall design of flowers and leaves approaching Art Deco in style. Reticulated circular ornaments are applied to the body. Lots going on with the gilded spout, handle and neck over the cobalt blue ground. An olive brown ground covers the majority of the body of the piece. The photos give an accurate representation of the colors of the pot. Ink stamp mark, FISCHER BUDAPEST, along with PATENT, with 628 impressed. Measures 10 1/2” tall, by 10” wide. Great piece. Thanks for looking!
