It was purchased new, was never displayed in a showroom, and has no signs of prior use. Factory plastic film is still on the tuning keys, pickups, and pickguard. The truss rod is in good working order with adjustability in both directions. The neck is straight with no signs of warping or waviness. The electronics are in perfect working order. This bass weighs in at 8.7 pounds and feels well balanced in use. This bass will include the original Fender gig bag, warranty card, and tools. It has been set up with D’Addario EXL 45-105 strings with dialed-in intonation, medium (2.5mm) action, and optimal relief. OverviewModeled after an early 1960s Jazz Bass, this bass features a basswood body with Surf Green gloss polyester finish and mint 3-ply pickguard. It is equipped with an incredible matching headstock and vintage natural finish 2-piece maple neck with lovely classically grained thick slab rosewood fingerboard. The neck sports a Jazz Bass familiar 1.5-inch (38.1mm) nut width and U-profile that provides a bit of shoulder while still feeling quick and comfortable. The specs of this instrument lend it a Goldilocks quality of “just right” in terms of feel and tone that’ll leave you wanting to keep digging in.Electronics and ToneThe original Vintage-Style Single-Coil Jazz Bass pickups do a great job of conjuring up our favorite aspects of early 1960s Jazz Bass tone.
