Duntov also removed the original 377 cu. in engines. Running the 427 Mystery Chevy engine #10 ran in the Prototype class and were involved in an accident on lap 65. Team mates Wintersteen and Moore drove the #9 L88 Sunoco in Corvette Grand Sport Coupe to GT Class victory.
