Description: Warm greetings from Japan. Thank you very much for visiting our listing. This is a Gibson Ace Frehley signature model Les Paul Custom, probably manufactured in 1998. The previous owner bought it in April 1999. It's a one-owner item that the previous owner bought at Shimamura Musical Instruments at the time. It's been about 25 years since the previous owner bought it, so it has some marks, some deterioration in the clear paint, and cracks, but it sounds very good. The previous owner made a lot of modifications since bought it. First of all, the headstock is a Grover baroid peg, just like the Frehley guitarist. The rod cover is a custom shop made one, the front PU and center PU are DiMarzio PAFs, just like the guitarist. The rear PU is the original Super Distortion. The knob of the toggle switch was originally white but has been changed to amber, just like the guitarist. The pickguard is a modified Gibson standard that I previously owned. The pickguard bracket is also made by Gibson. All the pots have been changed to CTS, the capacitors are orange drops, and the jack plate was originally black plastic but has been changed to steel, with some modifications to make it look like a buddhist guitar. Comes with the original hard case shown in the photo. It has been stored for many years. A lightning bolt strap is also included. This strap is often not stitched on the edge, but this one is properly stitched. Ace Frehley signature Gibson strings from the time of release are also included. The case has signs of wear due to storage. Please inspect pictures for condition reference.
