Description: Here is a wonderful Edison Diamond Disc record, #51109, circa 1922. Jim Doherty sings the famous song "Just Before the Battle, Mother", with orchestra. On the flip side, Walter van Brunt performs "When I Dream of That Mother of Mine". Fine renditions, "Battle" includes bugle and battle noises, two wonderful listens. As far as I can tell, neither song was issued as a Blue Amberol cylinder record. The record plays well with little surface noise. Enjoy this disc, go for it! $5.50 media mail postage and handling fee. Check out my other items for sale, and thanks for looking!
