Description: Duncan Miller Tear Drop pattern from the mid 1940s. This lovely little butter dish is made of silver overlay on pressed glass. This dish holds a 1/4 lb stick of butter. The top is easy to grasp with the circular ring. The silver is intact and not peeling, no missing sections. The top has no damage - no chips around the rim or anywhere else. The bottom is nearly intact as it has no chips on the rim where one might expect to find them, but it does have one tiny fleabite or maybe pockmark on the underside where the "base rim" meets the "bottom". I tried to capture this tiny defect in a close up of the underside.. This dish is in excellent condition, especially for its age. Approximate dimensions: 7-1/4 long x 3" wide x 4" tall. Please review listing photos carefully as they are part of the description. Thank you.
