Description: Here is a wind-up tin toy from just after WW2. Made in U.S. Zone Germany, it is the Distler D-3150 BMW convertible. The winding key is not a DISTLER key and so it slips. Once wound, the motor works in all gears, including Reverse. It needs a plastic windshield, headlight covers, and replacement of the one odd tire. Use your parts car to complete this and sell the leftover parts. NOTE: Tires are round - tire clipping is an artifact of the photo editing process in this case....
