Solenoid's are opened and inspected for damage and repackaged with extra shipping paper before shipping as the manufacturer containers are not fit for mail transport and are prone to breaking. The manufacturer does not include any nuts with the solenoid so we provide them free of charge as rusted or burnt nuts can be the cause of a solenoid not working correctly. Notice: If your starter is spinning in place or making a yinging noise the solenoid is probably not the issue. Most likely have a bad drive clutch, broken shift lever, or starter is clogged with debris.
