Upper clamp is made of 3 parts, these can be easily taken apart and cleaned when chips get wedged in. Locating stop rod is 6mm.1018CR mild steel and can be shaped to your needs. Upper clamping section uses a 1/2"-12 bolt, same as lower. Use your 3/8" hex wrench to tighten upper and lower. ( allen wrench or other brands) No upper handle to get in the way of cutters or coming loose from chips grabbing. Base, dog leg and three upper clamp parts are made of 6061 aluminum.
