The ukulele comes in its original Gig Bag with the company name, CME HRICANE, in its trademark gold lettering. This is a wonderful Ukulele made of Sapele wood from Africa, a wood that closely resembles Mahogany in looks and sound. The "Sapele Mahogany" wood works well and provides a pleasant look and tone. They make an excellent choice for any level of ukulele player. It has a beautiful sound thanks to the Sapele wood which provides a warm, mid-range, heavy tonal characteristics with subtle overtones. While tonally not exactly the same, the two woods are close in sound. Sapele is sometimes used as a substitute for Mahogany because it has very much the same sound. In comparison to Mahogany, Sapele wood adds high end into the mix. Its sound is often described as "dry, woody, and bluesy." The Ukulele features a beautiful gloss finish that highlights the attractiveness of the grain that runs through the instrument. The Ukulele comes with a Rosewood neck and bridge, cream-colored purfling and sound hole border, and nicely shaped headstock with quality machine heads.
