They are hand dyed beads from Kenya, Africa. The dying method is known as "batik", which is a wax relief process. The design on these is an interesting "CHEVRON" design, with the pattern going all the way around the bead. These beads are strung on sisal and could even be worn as is. The strand is approximately 24-26" long, and each bead is about 22-25 mm in diameter by 14-18 mm wide. They are perfect for any of your beading needs! Due to the handmade nature of these beads some beads may have a wood core that is more secure than others.
