Book- Counterfeiting Antique Cutlery by Witcher & Surprise gift from1973

Description: During my collecting days this book saved me a few bucks when it prevented me from buying some fake counterfeit knives. Yes, some were floating around, but this wonderful book published in 1997 somewhat put the people who were able to fake knives out of business. At least I hope it did! The price ranges for this book are all over the place. I see one listed for $699, many in the $110 range and a few in the $75 range. I will be adding a little surprise addition to the Counterfeit book and that is a neat little book with the name of Romance somewhere on the cover and 1973 too. That will come along when I ship this large almost like new Counterfeiting Antique Cutlery by Gerald Witcher. I really do not know how to price it so I will put it up for bids and let the market determine the price. The main item is 8 1/2 X 11 inches and about 3/4 inch thick. The big book has 512 pages of good stock paper so the book and the complimentary item will be fairly heavy to ship. You can get an idea of the content by looking at the pages as there are lots of photos showing how the counterfeits look compared to the correct ones should look. All photos are black and white. The binding is still perfect and no writing inside or out. The buyer may think this one came right off a dealers shelf as it is just like new. The surprise (guide) is a little shop worn, but considering its age of almost 51 years it is not in bad shape. If you are a collector of knives or plan to start collecting this book should be in your hands. I will use Media Mail to ship and this book will not be sold or shipped outside the USA. I will be 87 in a few months and need to part with things I have been enjoying (hoarding) for many years.
