Description: A very rare Baldwin (Burns/Ampeg) Bison Bass electric guitar logo pickguard in grey sparkle finish. It's a three ply pickguard with a grey metallic/sparkle finish on top, white in the middle, and black on the back. The pickguard is all original and for a mid-1960s solid body Bass guitar. These are for the post Burns era when Baldwin bought the company. The Bison guitars were sold between 1965 and 1970. Overall, it's in good condition but definitely shows a little wear/age. There's some gunk on the top. It has not been cleaned but hopefully it will clean off with the proper cleaner. It feels like glue or something in that realm. But, it could be a cigarette-type heat burn. Check the large photos to see if they match your project. Photos tell the story. Please ask any questions. All sales are final. We definitely welcome offers. We also carry an array of vintage electric guitars including Silvertone, Danelectro, Kay, Harmony, Supro, National, Kapa, Burns/Baldwin, MicroFrets, Airline, Alamo, Eko, Magnatone, La Baye, and Mosrite.
