Description: We are a offering this highly desirable Figural Pickle Castors with a crystal jar fitted in an elaborately designed silver-plated frame. It comes with a matching silver-plated lid. They were used to serve pickles, pickled vegetables and fruits, and various other delicacies. The Figural Pickle Castor is lovely and sophisticated, and it has an ornate silver plate stand/holder featuring four footed soldier heads, and a cut clear crystal jar with lid. Tongs aren't included. It was manufactured by Webster Mfg. which was founded in 1876, and the Pickle Castor is stamped with Pattern #36 which indicates a very early item. Please see all photos.
