Description: Antique COWDEN & WILCOX stoneware pottery jar, crock in wonderful condition. No visible chips, cracks, damage or repairs. The stoneware is misshaped at the top of the jar. I believe by the shape of the jar top opening that it is called an oyster jar, but can not say for certain. Measures 9.5" tall x 4.5" diameter base x 2 3/4" diameter top. Being sold as found.
