Description: Early 20th C. Mantel Clock by The Sessions Clock Co. of Forestville, Conn. 1910 Catalog identifies it as the Allwin. It is an 8 Day Time and Strike with a ring on the half hour from a Half Cup Bell. The hour sounds a mellow Cathedral Gong 1 per the particular hour. It is decorated with 8 capped colums divided by the dial wrapping around the sides topped with tan veined Faux Marble. It is gloss black with carved accents throughout. It is a nice blend of richness and understatment combnined. It runs quietly and accuratley with a speed adjusting arbor at 12 o'clock. There is light wear that is not readily apparent in a few spots on its top and a light tan discolaration on the dial. Please review the photos and reach out with questions. Thank you.
