Description: This late 19th-century/early 20th-century antique Nippon Moriage Ewer Pitcher features a beautifully hand-painted motif of flowers and soft greenery stems set against a white background. The floral pattern is complemented by a gold decorative moriage motif. The bottom stamping is worn but Nippon can be deciphered. The piece measures just over 7" tall and just over 6" in diameter at its widest point (base). The ewer is in amazing condition for the age. I did not find any chips, cracks, repairs or crazing. There is some loss/wear to the gold paint on the spout and closed handle. This is a stunning piece! Please note that antique items may have slight color variations and signs of wear that may not be fully captured in photos. I was getting some glair while taking the photos. Please review all of the photos as they are an important part of the description. Ships via USPS with tracking from Minnesota within one day of receipt of payment (not including weekends). This will be packaged with care, and bubble wrap for a safe arrival. Thank you, I appreciate the orders I receive!
