Description: Lovely antique early 20th century Imari plate in “Amherst Japan” pattern by Mintons . The plate features scalloped rims and is decorated in popular during the era, Japanese Imari style decorations. Marked with Mintons impressed mark and with the pattern name in the middle mark. There is also an impressed date mark which indicates 1910 year of production. Measures about 10.” wide and 1.5”H. The plate is somewhat deep, appears to be soup plate. CONDITION: use related marks and scratches, wear on the underside. Crazing throughout, areas with discoloration related to the crazing and age, especially visible on the underside (please see pictures). Production and firing related blemishes and imperfections. Wear on the foot. Minor scabs around rims and foot. Sold As Is due to the above.
