Description: Antique Islamic Ottoman Empire metallic threaded embroidered cloth/pillow case. This dramatic embroidered piece, possibly with silk floss threads, on velour backing features ornate decorations of birds, peacock and flowers creating an ornate pattern.The piece measures~ 16 inch wide x 14 inch tall x 6 inch thick.In superb antique condition with some minor wear/tarnish to the threading. I noted some light stains to the velour cloth and one corner of the pillow needs to be stitched closed (see last picture).Beautiful one of a kind collectible piece!
