Description: I am selling an antique Stuart Crystal ring from my personal collection. This ring is comprised of a circa 1670-1720 Stuart crystal with a later 14K gold shank. The shank appears to be antique and nicely done with scalloping. The connection of the shank to the body was reinforced was solder which is not really noticeable unless magnified. The Stuart Crystal itself has gold cypher on top of a bed of woven hair. As this crystal is 300 years old there is wear on the crystal and aging inside consistent with its age. However, I bought this because it was presents a sparkly, dark moody appearance that I love. I am including the antique ring box which I believe is early victorian. The ring is sized to a US 4.25 and would fit US size 4-4.25. The ring fits nicely flat to then finger. The crystal measures 9.8mm east to west and 8.5mm north to south. The shank width measures approximately 2.3mm wide. Please contact me if more measurements are needed. I am selling this for way less than I purchased from a Georgian jewelry dealer. But I am open to offers as I have found it necessary to downsize my collection.
