Description: A spectacular pair of antique Fischer Budapest Moon vases. The front and back cream ground is decorated with gold outlined colorful enameled designs reminiscent of Turkish Iznik tile motifs. The sides are decorated with similar enamel designs on a sanded gold ground. The workmanship is superb. The vases are unmarked with the exception of a handpainted “D17” in gold on the base of one of the vases. The vases measure 8 1/2" t, 7 1/2" d & 6" wide. The base is 4 1/4" x 2 7/8". Overall, the condition of the vases is good to excellent. Minor age-appropriate signs of use. The bottom corner of one vase has a small loss of gold décor. The bottom back corner of the other vase has a small piece that appears to have been broken and glued back in place. Study photos. 1.22023311
