Description: Antique Embroidered and Sequined Textile Hand Fan 18th Century Circa 1780 A late 18th century hand fan , circa 1780. With a silk embroidered leaf sewn with sequins. The bone sticks carved and pieced. The right guardstick is backed with mother of pearl and the guardstick length is 11 1/2". While the leaf and sticks are both late 18th century. The fan is probably a marriage. The leaf does not fit 100% correctly. The back (left) guard has an old repair, and one inner stick has a backer repair. Please view all photos carefully. A very unusual fan. I have not seen one with a leaf like this before. Overall, good condition for its age and guaranteed to be as described. No international shipping.
