Description: For sale is this beautifully decorated piece of Japanese pottery. According to the mark on its bottom, this ceramic vase was manufactured by the Shofu Ceramics Company in Nagoya, Japan between 1900 and 1921. We know that the piece was made prior to 1921 because the stamp on the bottom says Nippon and not Japan. It was in 1921that the name Japan was begun to be stamped on exported products instead of Nippon. As seen in the included photos, this piece features wonderful decorations of a tree, with traditional Japanese motifs. The piece is a little over 5 inches in height and 3 inches in width at its mouth. One of the leaves on the trees has been chipped. This is visible in our pictures. Please examine the photos carefully prior to purchase as our items are sold as-is. This is one of those few pieces that really catches the eye. It would make a perfect present for any collector of Asian art. Please reach out with any questions about the vase. We are a small operation, but will answer within 1 business day. We ship all pieces within 3 business days of purchase. ............... Follow us on Instagram @belle_cheri_collectibles
