The AG500 V2 is a lightweight 500W amplifier with the clarity, dynamic range and fast transient response of the legendary AG 500. It has the ability to drive 2.67ohm loads, giving you the ability to pair a 4ohm and 8ohm cab for exceptional flexibility when grabbing cabs from your arsenal. Of course, it can power a single cab or a pair of 8ohm cabs as well. The amp has a powerful 4-band EQ section along with Deep and Bright EQ switches. We find the Deep EQ switch to be perfect when looking to add a focused bump in the bass frequencies, while the Bright EQ and Deep EQ switches together immediately cook up gospel-inspired tones. Aguilar has included a built-in IR cabinet suite pre-loaded with all SL- and DB-series cabs, and with the ability to upload your own IR profiles. Other features include a universal power supply (safe from 100V to 240V), headphone out, aux in, two Speakon jacks and dual XLR outputs.
