THIS IS NOT THE 92-93 STYLE HATCH LATCH I HAVE THAT IN ANOTHER AUCTION. 87-91 SPECIFIC.Up for sale is a nice ford mustang rear hatch lock mechanism. This is the power key lock mechanism that unlocks the hatch itself. Usually these are found rotted or missing and falling off. This one is in great condition!. Took the time to clean it up a little and it looks good and clean. Pulled from an 91 GT. This latch specifically is Used 87-91 only. This is the POWER SWITCH hatch lock that is confirmed working order. We went thru the locks and checked the functionality of the lock on a 6 volt system. Sounds like a shotgun when it clicks and unclicks! Unlocks via power switch no problems as we tested the mechanism with a 12volt supply. Comes with the power switch lock that usually other sellers like to take off and sell separately. This is in good shape. As you can see in the pictures not bad shape at all. Works as intended.
